Our Impact

As a foreign researcher, one of the greatest challenges I faced was the financial burden associated with conducting research. The scholarship eased this burden and allowed me to focus fully on my academic work.

Since February 2025, I have been working as a Korean language professor at Universitas Madani Indonesia. Moving forward, I plan to continue pursuing my passion for research and education, and to fulfill my role as a professor who provides practical and meaningful support to students.

Kim Chong Hak, Painter of Seoraksan reflects the High’s ongoing commitment to fostering cultural exchange by inviting American audiences to experience Korean art traditions for visitors of all ages. By introducing the High’s surrounding community to one of Korea’s most significant modern painters, the exhibition deepened public understanding of Korean history, aesthetics, and creative practice, while strengthening connections with Atlanta’s Korean and Korean American communities. The High is grateful for the Yang Won Sun Foundation and its support toward making this exhibition possible.
